Project A Manufacturing
Levi’s role
Levi was appointed Administrator over a major Australian manufacturer, tasked with conducting investigations into the company’s affairs, preparing reports for creditors and providing recommendations for the company’s future. Levi was subsequently appointed Deed Administrator to enable a restructure of the company’s affairs with consent of creditors. Matter referred by Big-4 accounting firm.
Outcome
After a successful Deed of Company Arrangement which maximised returns for creditors, the company had an opportunity to continue its existence and was offered a better future compared to liquidation. Levi’s recommendation to support the proposed DOCA aligns with the primary objective of the voluntary administration regime, aiming to safeguard the interests of creditors and members while achieving the best possible outcome for all stakeholders.
